How do I submit an Open Registration Request?

An Open Registration Request is initiated by a region when it has all the final details ready for an event's registration page to be completed.  All NextUp events on the calendar require an Open Registration Request to be submitted and approved in order to go live on the NextUp Events Calendar. Essentially, an approved Open Registration Request will replace the event's Save the Date on the calendar with open registration (unless otherwise requested as a private event link.) 

  • Log into your NextUp Account 
  • Click on Event Management on the left-hand navigation menu. 


  • Navigate to the My Open Registrations card on the Event Management tab. 
  • Click the Edit button.  


  • Complete all required fields.

  • ALL required fields must be completed before saving the form. The form will clear if all required fields are not completed. 
  • If you are ready to submit: Check the Ready to Submit box and click Save. You will not be able to go back and edit information later.  
  • If you are not yet ready to submit and would like to save the form: Click Save without checking the Ready to Submit box. You will be able to go back and edit information and submit once information is finalized. 
  • Once the form has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from NextUp HQ when/if the event is approved and posted to the calendar.
